An Update to Current Services

I have decided that the best thing I can do during the pandemic for the health of my patients and myself is to stop all in-person treatments until June 2020. Because this situation is ever-changing (literally daily), I appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time.

I will however still be seeing people via telemedicine*- and that's what this post is all about.

What is telemedicine?

Telemedicine is the same kind of consultation that I would do in person, just done over a secure video chat service. Once you book an appointment, you will receive an email with a link and instructions on how to start your session.

How can Chinese Medicine and/or Reiki help me from a distance?

Chinese Medicine is so much more than just needles, and there are so many things that we can work on together during a telemedicine session:

  • At-home acupressure points for your health concerns and goals,

  • Guided meditation, breathing, and tapping exercises,

  • Stress and anxiety management technique recommendations,

  • Herbs recommendations,

  • Nutritional counseling based in Chinese Medicine energetics,

  • Qi Gong and other energy movement recommendations,

  • ...and more.

Reiki is energy work through touch or just above the body in person; but it is also an energy healing practice that can be performed from a distance. In fact to become a Reiki Master, Reiki practitioners learn specific energy movement techniques and Reiki symbols that are to be done specifically for this purpose. This means that all energetic work of any Reiki session can be done remotely.

I am looking forward to seeing you again soon, whenever and however that may be. If you would like to have a consultation, please book a telemedicine appointment. Regardless of how long this current state of emergency lasts, I will be keeping this telemedicine service available for patients to use and am happy to be able to offer these new services. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

*Please note that just like any other form of medicine, telemedicine is not for everyone. If at any time you or I feel that telemedicine would not be appropriate for your specific case, we can adjust what we work on or stop treatment until a time when we can work together in person.
